“…full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.” — John 21:11
» — Jean 21, 11
At dawn, on the lake, a net is cast on the right side of the boat and fills with a hundred and fifty-three fish (John 21). Each fish carries a multiple of three: add the cubes of its digits, again and again, and it always comes home to 153 = 1³ + 5³ + 3³. The fish sings every number on its way, one note per digit, so each melody ends on do–sol–mi as it takes its place in a net of seventeen rows, for 153 is the seventeenth triangular number. Touch the water and a fish is released to sing its road home.
A net cast on the right side fills with 153 fish (John 21). Each carries a multiple of three; adding the cubes of its digits always leads it to 153 = 1³ + 5³ + 3³, and it sings each number on the way until its melody ends on do–sol–mi. Touch the water to release a fish.
